Dear All,
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Guyana Sport Shooting Foundation Inc., I wish each and every one of you a very Happy 2015. I am happy and privileged to remind you of the successful launch of the G.S.S.F. mid last year and of the success the Foundation has enjoyed during 2014.
This success has been due to all of our members who un-hesitatingly came on board to promote sport shooting in Guyana in a safe and well regulated manner. Thank you very much for your support. I also wish to pay tribute to the work of the founding Board of Directors who have given so freely of their time and energies to make 2014 the success it has been. I thank each and every one of you for your involvement as members of the Board of the G.S.S.F.
The success of every organisation, sporting or otherwise, depends primarily on the co-operation of those who run it and the involvement of membership as there is no substitute for good relations and teamwork.
Thanks to the members who come out to events be it in blistering sunshine or heavy rainfall, to those who have helped in the setup and resetting of stages whether it was spraying of steel at or Steel Challenge matches or the patching of paper targets and building of stages at the Practical Pistol events. Thanks to all of our hard-working Range Officials and of course our shooters who came out.
Thanks to the Ministry of Culture, Youth & Sport, the National Sports Commission, the Guyana Police Force, the Guyana Defence Force, sponsors, supporters, spectators and our media friends.
I am truly grateful to each and every one of you for your support and I look forward to your continued support in 2015 as we progress in the further development of our various shooting disciplines in order to carry Sport Shooting in Guyana to a whole new level.
