GSSF PRACTICAL SHOOTING SECTION GETS SUPPORT FROM NABI AND NUTRA FARMS

Members of the Guyana Sport Shooting Foundation are working to construct props and put things in place for what promises to be yet another exciting Practical Pistol Match they will be hosting this Saturday 28th March, 2015 at the G.D.F. Range.

The Board of Directors of the G.S.S.F. wishes to acknowledge the generosity and thank the management of NABI Construction for their donation of a new roll of construction mesh and also the management of Nutra Farms for donating wood in their bid to offset expenses of the Foundation. These items will be used for the construction of several screens and walls to be used by the GSSF’s Practical Shooting Section.

G.S.S.F. ‘RINGS’ IN 2015 STEEL CHALLENGE SHOOTING WITH SUCCESSFUL MATCH

On Saturday 28th February, 2015, the air at the GDF Yarrowkabra Range was filled with the sound of gunfire as local handgun sport shooters engaged steel plates in the hope of making melodic ‘ringing’ tones. Competitors came out shooting for top honours in the latest Guyana Sport Shooting Foundation Steel Challenge Tier 1 Match, sponsored by Boodram’s Bakery and Why Pay More Trading.

GSSF is affiliated to the Steel Challenge Shooting Association which promotes the sport as one of
the fastest shooting competitions in the world.
The competition consisted of two SCSA stages and saw competitors racing for prizes in the Wildcat and Limited Divisions under clear skies and a cool tropical breeze.
