McKinnon wins G.S.S.F. Steel Challenge Shooting Competition

On Saturday 29th November, 2014, the Guyana Sport Shooting Foundation (GSSF) hosted another
Steel Challenge Shooting Match at the GDF Timehri Ranges. In spite of the heavy downpour, local
handgun shooters made their way to the Range to hear the melodic pings of lead impacting steel.
The G.S.S.F. through its affiliation to the Steel Challenge Shooting Association (S.C.S.A.)
continues to pioneering this area of sport shooting to members by organizing such matches on a
regular basis.

CAPITAL RECYCLING INC. SUPPORTS THE GSSF

As a new sport organisation, the Guyana Sport Shooting Foundation depends heavily on the generosity of our friends and good corporate citizens. In this regard, the Board of Directors sincerely thank Mr. Harish Lakhanpal, Managing Director of Capital Recycling Inc. for assisting us to offset some of our expenses.

Capital Recycling Inc. exports logs and lumber from Paramaribo, Suriname to different destinations worldwide. Their central office is situated at 74 Rio Negro Straat, Paramaribo, Suriname with a local office on South Road, Georgetown, Guyana.

TROPHY STALL DONATES TROPHIES FOR G.S.S.F.’s INAUGURAL PRACTICAL PISTOL MATCH

On Monday 20th October, 2014, Owner and Managing Director of Trophy Stall located at Bourda Market, Georgetown, Mr. Ramesh Sunich generously donated to the Guyana Sport Shooting Foundation trophies for their upcoming Inaugural Practical Pistol Match to be held on Saturday 25th October 2014 at the GDF Yarrowcabra Ranges, Timehri.

At a simple hand-over ceremony Monday afternoon, Mr. Ramesh Sunich who is well known for his contributions to the development of sports in Guyana, handed over the Trophies to the Foundation’s Board members. Mr. Steve Ninvalle, Secretary of the G.S.S.F. accepted the Trophies on behalf of the Foundation and thanked Mr. Ramesh Sunich for his involvement in and support of sport shooting in Guyana.
